The Island

The magical land of Churchill Island (Moonar'mia) holds an incredibly special place in our hearts.
We have fallen in love here, been charmed by many animals here, cooked with fresh produce from here, and danced our summer days away here, at a music festival or two.
Having our love party on this romantic island just made sense.
Churchill Island is located just off the coast of Phillip Island (Millowl). Accessible by driving across a single-lane bridge, the island features coastal walking tracks and an interactive heritage working farm.
Highland cattle, dairy cows, sheep, chickens, goats, horses, wallabies, rabbits, cape barren geese, plovers and purple hens all call Churchill Island home. Make sure you say hello to Dolly the gigantic pig.

Arrival Time

Please arrive to the ceremony by 3:30pm to make the most of the music and vibes. Our ceremony will be starting at 4pm.

Transport

We have organised a bus to help guests travel to our wedding and get home safely after the party.
The bus is with South Coast Charter, and has enough room to take 57 guests to and from Churchill Island.

It will stop at five pickup locations at the following times:

1. Cowes Transit Centre (Church St/Thompson Ave) - 2:40pm
2. Cowes Golf Club Bus Stop (Settlement Rd, Silverleaves) - 2:50pm
3. Rhyll Jetty (Beach Rd) - 3:00pm
4. Sunderland Bay/Phillip Island Rd Bus Stop - 3:10pm
5. Cape Woolamai V/Line Bus Stop (Phillip Island Rd) - 3:15pm
>>> Churchill Island - 3:30pm

Please arrive on time to the pickup locations, as the bus will leave promptly.
Ensure you mention in your RSVP whether you would like to reserve a seat.

See route and pins in Google Maps below:

Getting home

The night bus will come back to Churchill Island to collect guests after the wedding.
At 11 pm, it will depart the venue, and drop off guests on Phillip Island at the same five stops, in reverse order.

YOU'VE BEEN WARNED:
The bridge onto Churchill Island CLOSES at 11pm sharp!
Once the bus drives over the bridge, the park custodians will shut the single lane entry/exit until the following morning.

If you miss the bus, and decide to hang around or head off later... know that your ways of getting to bed then become:

1. Freestyle swimming across Western Port Bay
2. Spooning with Dolly the Pig.

Parking

If you prefer to drive, parking is available at Churchill Island.
Churchill Island is accessible via Phillip Island by driving across a small bridge. Please note this small bridge is the only way on and off the island.
Once you cross the bridge, follow the island signage directing you to designated parking areas.
See note above about crossing the bridge after the wedding by 11pm sharp.

Dressing Up

The dress 'code' for our wedding is cocktail.
Suits with ties - yes please! Expressive outfits - we love it! Bright colours - our favourite!
Comfortable is most important.

Kiddies

Ceremony: Babes in arms are welcome at our ceremony. If you have a young baby, who needs to be with you during the afternoon, you can bring them along for the ceremony fun.
Reception: Our reception party starts at 6pm, and this is a Grownups-Only event (except for our immediate fam).
Recovery: Children of all ages are welcome at our recovery party, if you would like to bring your family.

If you need a babysitting service to care for your kiddies (or bring baby home at 6pm) we can recommend Bridal Bliss Nannies:
